Watch: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Give Women The Best Life Advice Ever

Sisters co-stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are, quite possibly, two of our favourite women in the world. Talent and empowering social commentary aside, these two are all about being real and encouraging women to be the best versions of themselves. Still need convincing? Well, this video of the pair offering sound life advice to women will do the trick.

Buzzfeed asked both ladies to answer questions from fellow females, and their answers were nothing short of inspirational, and their life advice was heartwarming. Some questions are geared towards women of a certain age, but they are relevant to all women and should be taken very seriously. From urging us not to worry about our bodies – “[Your body] looks fantastic. Take as many pictures as you can” – to the words of wisdom passed on by Poehler’s Irish Nana, their advice is something we should all take on board when fretting over the little things.

If you’re wondering why Poehler is enthusiastically roaring “TURN IT UP” at the beginning of the video, it’s in answer to the question: “I’m a female, and some of the most frustrating sexism I’ve received is from female co-workers telling me that I should tone it down. Should I scale my confidence back?” They say no way.
