What To Do Today: Your IMAGE Guide To The Weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not experience authentic Japanese culture, enjoy a night of rock’n’roll, or see Princes’ ‘Purple Rain’. Happy weekend from IMAGE!

Experience Authentic Japanese Culture Here

This Sunday, April 23rd, the public is invited to experience authentic Japan right here in Dublin. Come to Farmleigh House and Gardens in the Phoenix Park to enjoy Japanese music, dance, food, martial arts demonstrations and crafts. Entry is free and all are welcome. So bring your friends, family, kids and dogs (on leads!) for an Irish hanami-matsuri! www.experiencejapan.ie for line up and location details.

Enjoy A Night Of Rock N Roll Here

What could be better than a night of rock & roll, blues and alt-country with The Dublin City Rounders at The Generator Hostel in Smithfield? Enjoy a deadly pint of Guinness or a Jameson on the rocks (only a stone’s throw from the Store House and the Jameson museum is right next door). Don’t forget your dancing shoes for this one.

See Purple Rain Here

Can you believe it’s been a year already since the tragic death of Prince? In celebration of his life, come see his bio-doc ‘Purple Rain’ tomorrow at Dublin’s Sugar Club. Cocktails, beers, pizzas plus free gourmet popcorn. The film starts at 8PM sharp. Find your tickets here.
