LauraLynn Children’s Hospice To Hold First-Ever Heroes Ball

LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, provides palliative care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families, and they are holding a very special ball to celebrate?celebrate all the little heroes that have been in and out of LauraLynn. This will be their?first black tie ball, and it will take place in The Round Room of the Mansion House on 28th May.

Proceeds will go towards providing palliative care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families, and it’s these incredible children who have inspired this event.

Broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan and Dublin Hurlers, Ryan O’Dwyer, David O’Callaghan, Colm Cronin and Joey Boland recently swapped out their usual kit for superhero costumes to show their support for the anticipated May event.?

With a focus on enhancing quality of life, LauraLynn provides support from diagnosis, to end of life, and throughout bereavement with a range of practical, emotional and medical care for the whole family.

The ball-goers are promised a memorable evening with Miriam acting as MC, music by crowd-rousing band Perfect Day, a comedy themed Q&A and an auction presided by Allsop’s Robert Hoban with some jaw-dropping items up for grabs.

?We are excited to announce our first LauraLynn ball. We are looking forward to what promises to be a fantastic event, with proceeds going towards helping the little heroes and families we care for everyday in LauraLynn,?’said Sharon Morrow, CEO of LauraLynn.

?I’m delighted to be MC for LauraLynn’s first black tie ball. It’s a great excuse to put on a nice guna, have a night on the town and do it all for a wonderful cause. I have been a patron of LauraLynn from the very start, so it has a very special please in my heart. LauraLynn really makes a difference to the lives of seriously ill children and their families.? I’m urging people to put the date in the diary for what will be a tremendous night out,? Miriam added.?

Other well-known faces expected to attend are presenters Lisa Fitzpatrick and Darren Kennedy and members of the Dublin GAA Senior Hurling and Football teams.

Tickets are priced at €125 each or €1250 per table of ten and there is a limited number of tables still available. Price includes drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment and afterparty. Tickets are available from www.lauralynn.ie
