Jennifer Aniston Won’t Discuss Angelina

A decade on from the Angelina Jolie/Mr and Mrs Smith debacle that ended her seven-year marriage to Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston finally spoke out last week about her divorce to the actor. In an intimate video interview with CBS Sunday Morning, she insisted that the two were letting bygones be bygones.

Now, despite The New York Times? attempts to question her further Jen is wisely practicing her silence. When they ventured dangerously into the field of Angelina’s recent Sony hack, Jennifer remained safely distant from that inevitable can of worms:

?I don’t want to give any fuel to the fire,? she said. She is practiced and game enough to permit 30 seconds of conversation about Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt. But a full minute is pushing it. Her posture stiffens.

Ten years on, Aniston admits in the interview that she is pretty tired of being asked about Angelina and her ex husband Brad:

?It’s ridiculous – that the two names have to go into the same sentence and there has to be a compare-and-despair thing,?

She also admitted she’s a little sick of being asked whether her character in upcoming Cake is that loathsome concept of ?likeable?, and whether she’s worried about that.

You don’t see a lot of men getting asked: ?Why aren’t you married? Why aren’t you having children?? You don’t get the ?Well, they seem to play the same thing over and over again,? and some of them do.?

Jen, we’ll always be fighting your corner.
