First Look At Jamie Dornan On Fifty Shades Darker Set

Christian Grey is coming back ladies. Okay, we know the first Fifty Shades film was dire but that doesn’t mean we can’t love Jamie Dornan does it? Thought not.

The highly-anticipated sequel, Fifty Shades Darker, began filming in Vancouver this week – and it sent fans into a tizzy, to say the least.

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan returned to Gastown, reprising their roles as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

Dornan has a BEARD. Well, almost.

Luke Grimes, Bella Heathcote, and Eric Johnson were also spotted on set. Heathcote plays Leila Williams – Grey’s ex-lover – while Grimes plays the millionaire’s brother, Elliot.

The cast and crew shot the original movie in Vancouver in 2014. The city’s tourism agency even promoted locations used in the film, suggesting that tourists “rub up” against the “sensual spots” the next time they swung through the area. Whatever floats your boat.

Eric Johnson plays Christian Grey’s rival, Jack Hyde.

Dornan (and his beard) still win though.

Just look at the craic they’re all having.

Dakota Johnson was also snapped featuring her trademark Ana Steele fringe and suitably longer locks.

The pictures come just after it was announced that Pretty Little Liars (PLL) star Brant Daugherty is joining the third instalment, Fifty Shades Freed. Daugherty – better known as Noel Kahn to PLL fans – will take on the role of Luke Sawyer, a personal bodyguard Christian Grey hires to watch over Anastasia Steele. We don’t remember the bodyguard being as handsome in the books? What would Grey say?

Some of us (okay, me) now has a Fifty Shades countdown clock as a screensaver. Not even sorry.

Fifty Shades Darker?is due to hit cinemas on February 10th, 2017 and Fifty Shades Freed is to be released on?February 9th, 2018.

Are you looking forward to the sequels?
