Princess Eugenie shares unseen wedding photos on anniversary

Celebrating two years of marriage, the royal shared a video montage of photos, showcasing herself and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, over the years

Featuring throwback shots of the pair bundled up in puffer coats, posing in front of penguins, and smiling for sunset and forest selfies, the clip also shared never-before-seen black-and-white images from their 2018 wedding.

“Been the best 2 years married to you and 10 years with you in total.. happy memories always my dear Jack,” Eugenie wrote on Instagram.

In terms of her wedding gown, the Princess of York wowed in a gorgeous Peter Pilotto gown on the day, chosen specifically with a low-back detail so that she could proudly display her scars from the extensive scoliosis surgery she had when she was 12. “I had always wanted a low back,” she said. “Part of it was showing my scar and I believe scars tell a story about your past and your future, and it’s a way of getting rid of a taboo.”

It was, however, her ‘second’ gown of the day, worn to a private reception she had at her family home that really wowed.

The creative mind behind Eugenie’s second wedding dress, designer Zac Posen, chimed in on Instagram for the anniversary celebration, sharing a behind-the-scenes shot not seen before.

It was inspired by the beauty of Windsor, the surrounding countryside and the “blush of an English rose,” according to Posen who created the gown, especially for the princess. He shared a new photo of the princess in her gown on Instagram.

The dress featured a stunning chiffon train and cape that cascaded down from the shoulders, with a line of buttons down the spine. Most noticeably, the design included a plunging back with beautiful detailing.

Just last month, the couple announced they are expecting their first child.
