Mellow Yellow

Ikea Yellow Rug

A symbol of optimism, creative spark and energy, my whole being is screaming out for yellow right now. And I can’t wait to get my mitts on one of these gorgeous yellow and white rugs from Ikea’s recently launched Stockholm range of furniture and accessories. Clearly inspired by the Scandinavian designs of the 1950s and ’60s, the collection feels grown up, pared back and infinitely desirable. I also love their chic round mirror (which you could easily pass off as a designer classic), the funky green dining chairs, the groovy yellow and green cushions – My lust list just got longer.
