Winter-Proof Your Beautiful Curls

Winter-Proof Your Beautiful Curls

The Arctic elements are playing havoc with your already unruly curls, and suddenly your cute corkscrews are simply out of control.

The Solution

Curly hair creates a challenge in getting nourishing oil from root to tip at the best of times, but in winter, the harsh conditions mean there’s even more opportunity for fuzz, frizz, and split and frazzled ends. Start by adding moisture at the washing stage, by using an enriching feast of a shampoo. Don’t overwork the hair, and after patting the initial wet away (keep towel friction to a minimum), apply product and then, ideally, leave curls to dry naturally, or use a hairdryer with a broad diffuser. Masks are great for cutting frizz and volume whilst defining natural twists and curls.
