Watch: The Man Behind The New Chanel N?5 Perfume

You may not be overly familiar with the name Olivier Polge, but you certainly will be familiar with his perfumes, or rather, how they smell. He is the man behind such iconic scents such as Dior’s Homme and SpiceBomb by Victor & Rolf but now the renowned perfumer will have his name alongside the most famous fragrance of them all, a new lighter interpretation of the classic Chanel N?5 – L?EAU Chanel N?5. And in case you were wondering, he knows his stuff; he was born into fragrance royalty – his father, Jacques Polge, was Chanel’s master perfumer since 1978; before that, Ernest Beaux, the creator of Chanel N?5 – and we have an exclusive interview and an insight into how he went about creating a new variation of the scent, which is due out next month.
