The Cure for Damaged Hair?

The Cure for Damaged Hair?

With all the years of bleaching, highlighting and dabbling with dye, the ombr?, the sombr? and the balyage, chances are your hair is in need of some nourishment. Add to that all the blow-drying, curling and straightening and it’ll soon be crying out for help. But fear not, as this is where the venerable New York based purveyor of fine quality skin and hair care comes in: Kiehl’s.

With one of the best reputations in the business, we’ll always be interested to see what Kiehl’s come across with next. This time, they’re looking after your thirsty, damaged locks.

Today we’ve tried their Damage Repairing and Rehydrating Shampoo as well as their Damage Repairing and Rehydration Conditioner. Little word of warning though, if you’ve got particularly fine hair that requires frequent washing from greasiness, then this may not be the product for you. It’s incredibly rich and so best used on very dry, heavily coloured hair that struggles to retain any moisture.

The shampoo is sulfate, silicone and paraben free which, as always, is welcome news. Packed full with Moringa Tree Oil and hydrating Hyaluronic, this product promises to smooth and fortify each and every fiber of your hair, giving you instant results. Your hair will feel super healthy and replenished with a shiny, lustrous look.

Meanwhile the creamy conditioner (also packed with Moringa Tree Oil, which, for those who are unaware, is one of the moust sought after oils used in beauty rituals since ancient Egypt!) will instantly detangle your hair leaving it smooth, supple and massively replenished.

Both potions will inject some much needed life back into brittle hair that’s been depleted by chemical processing and heat styling. And as an added bonus, they smell good enough to eat!

The shampoo retails at €18.50 while the conditioner can be bought for €23

Have you been suffering with dry, dehydrated hair? What have you found to help?
