New Chanel Make-Up To Die For

New Chanel Make-Up To Die For

If you know us well here at IMAGE.ie, you’ll know that we’re super fans of Chanel. In our eyes (and we’ve seen it all), they can do no wrong. Not even Brad Pitt is going to put us off. Just yesterday we devoured the Chanel Couture Spring Summer 2015 collection, which as you can read here, is positively sublime. Today, we’re shifting some of that Chanel love over to their beauty quarters.

For the CC Cream fans among you, Chanel are introducing a new and improved formula ‘for even more complete correction.’ This cream boasts 5 actions in 1 simple step. First of all, it corrects your skin, improving signs of aging, smoothing over lines thanks to its complex of Prunus persica peach extract. Then it gets to work to soothe your skin, due in large part to the natural marine extracts. Hyaluronic acid ensures your skin remains moisturised all day long, while its coated pigments perfect your complexion, reducing the appearance of redness, dark spots, enlarged pores and other unwanted blemishes. What your skin will really thank you for, however, is the added protection of SPF 50. You can use this on its own for moderate coverage or as a primer before you apply your foundation or powder. Coming in 4 perfect shades, your flawless complexion awaits! ?60.50, launching on March 20th.

Elsewhere, we’ve fallen in love all over again with Chanel’s Rouge Coco lipsticks, complete with a new formula, fronted by the stunning Keira Knightley. With Rouge Coco, Chanel brings us back to the origins of lipstick. Mademoiselle’s favourite beauty accessory; the essential basic that allows you to express your mood of the moment, day or night. This creamy, melt-away bullet comes in 29 new shade. From mischievous reds to delicate pinks and intense plums, your every desire is catered for. As for the quality of the lipsticks themselves? Your pout will be dressed in a supple, comfortable veil, intensely hydrated and visibly plumped. Within each lipstick you’re treating your lips to some jojoba, mimosa and sunflower wax as well as a polymer film combined with silicone beads to fill out creases and prevent bleeding or feathering. Basically, this is about as professional a lipstick as you’re going to get. The only challenge you’ll face is choosing which one is for you. We’ve fallen for the 454 Plum shade ‘Jean’, the 442 Red ‘Dimitri’ and 434 Rosewood ‘Mademoiselle’. ?32.50, launching March 13th.

Chanel, how we heart you.
